Gate.io’s first ever Global Futures Trading Competition has come to an end. After receiving much fanfare since it was first announced in mid-December 2021, the GTFC has ended as individual traders and teams battled it for the top spot.
In the less than a month that the campaign was active, over 5,000 participants took part in the solo and troop campaigns, transacting over $2 billion in futures trades. Gate.io issued a heartfelt thanks to participants of the campaign, with plans for more campaigns in the near future(s).

The GTFC saw users from across the world participate, with particular interest from users in Russia, Turkey and the Netherlands. The company thanked every single participant and alluded to plans for more futures-specific trading competitions in the near future.
